As a result of the auction frequency of 800 MHz two frequency blocks have been awarded to Orange, one of T-Mobile, one P4 and one NetNet. According to T-Mobile in the present conditions, the distribution of ensuring the maximization of benefits for customers, enabling the implementation of innovative technologies and ensuring the efficient use of resources is one in which the book block "A" and "B" accounts for Orange Poland, "C "and" D "(as a result of the auction block D fell P4, the operator Play - PAP) - just T-Mobile, and" E "(block" orphaned "after NetNet) - P4. To do so, UKE would have to accept the exchange blocks between P4 and T-Mobile.

However, as he wrote in an article for the winter portal telko.in P4 CEO Joergen Bang-Jensen, the company does not want to turn into blocks of T-Mobile, because - according to her - block "E" is legally "contaminated". EY in its report argues that the best scenario would be the recognition by the UKE companies T-Mobile and Orange bandwidths of 10 MHz located next to each other, and Play network unit located at the other end of the spectrum. The report shows that the lack of a merger of two non-contiguous blocks of spectrum are not the only limitation LTE 800 MHz. Another problem is that commercially available transmitters do not support bands are wider than 20 MHz. This means that, if blocks T-Mobile and Orange not lie next to each other (and, for example. In terms of width 25 MHz, as in scenario A and B), the construction of a network using such resources will require duplication of all, which significantly raises the cost of investment. What's more, the increased number of transmitters in conjunction with the limited space on the masts of telecommunications means the need for additional investment in the construction of new towers and to adapt them to function at a higher load. Experts believe that the additional investment costs for the industry may even reach 1 billion zł.

Present at Monday's conference, Cezary Albrecht, director of the legal department and regulatory affairs of T-Mobile Poland said that all operators who have won blocks in the auction of 800 Mhz are connected and agree that the most optimal scenario would grant the UKE companies T-Mobile and Orange bandwidths of 10 MHz located next to each other, and Play network unit located at the other end of the spectrum. In his opinion, the movement now belongs to the Office.
