In 2014 years Dyżurnet.pl service received more than 11,000 reports of harmful content, threatening the safety of children. This represents an increase compared to the year 2013 by 65 percent.
The most serious incidents related to online distribution of material depicting the sexual abuse of children. They accounted for over 80 percent of the applicants in 2014. Of these, 1,250 applications have been classified as incidents that contain pornographic content involving minors. Seven out of ten of materials represented the girl. Two-thirds of the publication represented a person under 13 years of age, 30 percent of older children. 3 percent of the materials presented youngest children, or infants.
The case for the police
80 per cent of the reported materials were not available within 3 days of notification to the Dyżurnet.pl and the remaining 12 percent was discharged in a week. Most often it was the effect of intervention with the administrator of the page. In 425 cases, the matter was reported to the police.
10 percent of the applications examined in 2014 were the party of materials depicting child erotica. Although most were legal under Polish law it contained material attractive for people with pedophilic tendencies. Minors was presented in an inappropriate, sexual terms. About unethical intentions of the author testified organization gallery or collection of movies, as well as titles, descriptions, or keywords, such as sexy, young, fresh, lolitka. Reported materials include photos or videos that are performed during the special session. Minor victims pose in underwear, bathing suits or other tight clothing. They are partially dressed, or demolished during the session. Heavy makeup, posing with erotic toys and sexual and provocative poses are proof that the intentions of the person performing and posting pictures arise from the use of sexual interest in children by potential customers.
Threatening galleries on social networks
Other materials reported to the team were pictures taken of the closet, for example, on playgrounds, where the child was observed by bystanders. Photographs usually appeared underwear or even naked child. These images are under Polish law legal, but placing them in an erotic context makes it became evidence of the sexual intentions of the author.
Particular attention is drawn images that come from legitimate sources, such as family albums, or galleries posted by parents on social networking sites. The child is shown to them in a neutral context, but the organization of the gallery, presentation materials, the context is inappropriate.
