Reviews and Internet Explorer are still quite mixed. There is one category in which Microsoft’s browser is strong for years. More specifically: the impact of its actions on the battery life.

site 7tutorials decided to check Microsoft’s statements about the efficiency of its browser, and see how much truth there is in them. As it turned out, Microsoft does not darkened, and in fact the browser allows you to work longer without having to recharge the battery on your mobile device.
Editors used to test software Peacekeeper, and as a platform for test equipment used Toshiba Encore 8”, Surface Pro 2 and an old HP Pavilion notebook. Internet Explorer compared to Firefox, Chrome and Opera.
Internet Explorer Modern UI mode on the tablet Toshiba allowed for 8 hours and 52 minutes of work, and in the classic mode, the Desktop, 7 hours and 45 minutes. Other browsers fared noticeably worse (about six hours).
Internet Explorer coped worse on only one platform. Interestingly, it was the Surface Pro 2, where “modernowa” version of the browser was working an hour shorter than the desktop, and less than Firefox and Opera. Editors 7tutorials suspects that this is due to underdeveloped firmware notebook Surface Pro 2
