Windows 10: we know the release date and price! – Virtual Poland

With the information that appeared on the American side of the store Newegg, we know the release date and price of each version of Windows 10. Although this is not official information yet, but you can likely assume their truth.

Newegg is a shop too large, and the information that mistakenly appeared on its pages are too detailed and specific, to take out of nowhere. So we can safely assume that the representatives of the store received the data directly from Microsoft, and too quickly placed it on his website.

If they prove to be true, Windows 10 will go on sale 31 August 2015. For Windows 10 Home OEM (attributed to a specific computer) would have to pay $ 109 (approx. $ 400), while for Windows 10 Professional – $ 149 (approx. 560 thousand). The prices that are close to the current cost of acquiring the Windows 8.1 in the corresponding versions.

Microsoft obviously did not want to acknowledge all the information, but did not deny them. It ensured only that upgrades to Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone will be offered initially (the first year) for free. Microsoft has previously reported that Windows 10 will be available this summer, but without giving specific dates. In this context, a leak at the store Newegg seems so plausible.

Interestingly, Newegg has published even the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 10:

 • Processor: 1 GHz or faster
 • RAM: 1 GB (for 32-bit) or 2 GB (for 64-bit)
 • Free Disk Space: 16 GB
 • Graphics card: supports Microsoft DirectX 9 and WDDM driver
 • Account services founded Microsoft
 • Internet access

It’s hard to summarize these requirements, other than saying “there is nothing to fear.” Of course these are minimum requirements and for a smooth, fast operation of the system should, however, obtain a faster computer, but even with that it should not be a problem.

From the perspective of Microsoft in this year promises to be quite hot summer …
