If you want to do something good in music, it is impossible not to refer to the classics. Marshall knows this, which is to offer Bluetooth speaker strikingly reminiscent of an old guitar amplifier or a small stove transistor. Is Stanmore game as good as it looks?
At the beginning of the appearance, because this is just as impressive as the sound itself. As already mentioned, the speaker reminds the device stage and doing it well. There’s no exaggeration. The structure is wooden and finished artificial leather with a characteristic texture. On the front we have a beautiful and sparkling color grille with the logo of the manufacturer. At the top brass plate with analog knobs and bass tones and switch power on / off. There are also two buttons for selecting the audio source and the LED, which is the source informs. Everything was done perfectly and with great care, so Stanmore will be perfectly presented in most interiors. We have to choose the three color options – black, white and brown.
The speaker is difficult, however, lumped together with other products of this type. All through its size, weight and power. Imagine that the whole weighs little more than 5 kg, and its dimensions are 350 x 185 x 185 mm. It can be easily transported by car, and even stubborn to move, but … hard to call it mobile. There you will take it camping or under the bare sky, because – apart from uncomfortable dimensions – require a permanent connection to the power supply. It turns out that Stanmore is substantially stationary bulky loudspeaker.
Inside the Marshall includes two tweeters and a subwoofer. They provide a total power of 80 W. This is enough to publicize a large living room. I have tested the device in a room with an area of 18 m 2 . Comfortable volume – acceptable to the neighbors on the 22nd – was when the knob on the device indicated 2-3 on a 10-point scale. Store was so impressive – like sound. Speaker is doing just anything. Very pleased will be lovers of electronics or hip-hop, but, of course, a real treat awaits lovers of guitars. Marshall Stanmore is a thoroughbred appearance and racial tone. The most interesting, however, that in such a closed classical form new solutions. In the end, we are dealing with a Bluetooth speaker! I have already mentioned that tested Marshall hardly portable speaker. It’s hard to compare it with small devices competition. I would treat it as a beautiful, loud, versatile and great-sounding alternative to the various audio systems. An alternative that is not only a great game, but simply an adornment except any interior.
