Every year in January, the technological market leaders are coming to Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Approximately 150,000 representatives from over 150 countries have become acquainted with the latest technologies from the world’s largest manufacturers, presented on the surface of 170,000 m². CES is one of the most important trade fair for Sony, because they give you the opportunity to show new key products for the year ahead. CES will be particularly important for us this year, as president and CEO of Sony, Kaz Hirai, will speak as the keynote speaker during the first day of the fair. The lecture will be part of the “Tech Titans Keynote”, during which the executive directors of the most influential companies in the technology market, present their vision of products, services and networks that will shape the next wave of innovation.
Even before the event, Sony has received 13 awards International CES Innovations 2014 Design and Engineering Awards Honouree, including four Best of Innovations honouree awards – awards for the best innovations. The award-products (Smart-shot cameras, VAIO Multi-flip and a portable headphone amplifier PHA-2) were also selected best in their categories. Nine other Sony products received awards Innovations Honouree.
