Microsoft confirmed the rumors published by us about the upcoming premiere of Office 2016 for Windows. Its final version will be downloadable soon, since September 22. But not for everybody, not immediately. And the question is: what exactly we have to update it?
The rumors were confirmed by reality: Windows as the last will receive the latest version of Microsoft Office, designated Office 2016. Personal subscribers to Office 365 and Office 365 Home will be able to manually download the installer of the new package already on September 22 from Office.com site. If they do not, this October they will receive new versions of client applications via Windows Update. From the first of October of Office 2016 for Windows will also be available to Volume Licensing licensees.
Microsoft Office was divided into two paths of development: mobile and desktop. At the moment, users of Android and iOS, and Windows can download this first edition of the latest version, the latest version of the desktop edition is available for OS X. In addition, Microsoft offers web-based version of Office. This means that Windows users will receive the latest desktop edition as the last.

All applications will now benefit from the module Outlook Data Loss Prevention, which will be guarded not to store sensitive data in public places. The last noteworthy new feature is the Power View for Excel (which is not actually new, and integration optional additive directly to the application).
Revolution absence
I probably will not experience it now. Office such as Windows, it will not already developed in the form of large updates provided that a long time. New features will be added to it as they are created and properly tested.
With Office 2016 actually had no contact whatsoever. Microsoft Office is my primary tool and I can not afford to work on imperfect beta edition that can potentially much nabroić documents, and more. The news is not so I have no opinion except that they were relatively minor.
As a subscriber of Office 365 I am happy that soon I will be able to use them. But if I was an old-fashioned holder of licenses for Microsoft Office, a long time I wondered if I want to spend the money. And most likely przeznaczyłbym it on something else.
