found the body of a whale on the beach passers Uniescie. This is probably the whale butlonosy, a very rare species of mammal. He has more than seven feet long and weighs more than a ton. On the beach the action begin pulling bodies to the shore.
– This is our historic discovery – said prof. Christopher Edward Leather, head of the Marine Station of the Institute of Oceanography, University of Gdansk, which is at the moment on the beach in Uniescie. – This is probably the whale butlonosy, even though we can not say for sure, because the body is partially in the water. We just pulled it ashore. For now, we know that the animal is seven meters and 30 cm long and weighs more than a ton.
The campaign will last until late afternoon. He takes part in it and S?upski WWF Maritime Authority. Even today, whale will be taken to a research station on the Hel Peninsula, where it will be examined by scientists who will determine the cause of his death.
