Nokia's shareholders approve the deal with Microsoft - FrazPC.pl

As expected, sale of equipment and services Nokia has been approved by the shareholders of the Finnish company – 99.7% of them voted “for”, which means that Microsoft can already prepare to take over. Under the wing of American businesses move not only the family unit Lumia or Asha, but also a map service and Nokia’s patents.

whole transaction, which cost the Redmond giant 7.35 billion , will be completed in the first quarter of next year. It is also worth noting that the former head of Nokia – Stephen Elop – back to Microsoft and is considered as a successor to Steve Ballmer as CEO of the company.

Among the candidates at this place there are also names like Alan Mulally – CEO of Ford (although this denies that his company planned to drop), Tony Bate – former CEO of Skype and Satya Nadella – Vice President, Cloud and Enterprise Microsotu.
