Ukrainian Naftogaz informed about the cause of the disruption in the supply of gas to the Donbas. The reason to be in the vicinity of the bombing of key pipeline, which resulted in damage to the system. Repair was not possible according to the company until they end up fighting in the area of ​​damage.

– Due to the numerous transport infrastructure damage from February 18th delivery of natural gas to the anti-terrorist operation zone (the area covered by the fighting with the militants Russian – ed. Ed.) Have been stopped. Their resume will now be impossible due to the continuation of active aggression in the region – the company said in a statement.

Ukrtransgaz expressed its readiness to immediately remove the damage, when it is only safe for its employees. Naftogaz was to determine who is to blame for the fault.
