LG just announced a new line of 4K TVs called Super UHD . It consists of five series – UF950, UF940, UF860, UF850 and UG870. According to the manufacturer presented receivers are characterized by not only a stylish design, but also the improved features Smart TV and very good quality of the projected image. According to the company, the equipment will introduce users to an even higher level of entertainment at 4K resolution.
The new line of TVs LG uses IPS panels ColorPrime technologies. They increase the range of colors displayed by about 25-30%, and the picture is much more vibrant and saturated. The top model in the series, UF950, has Wide Color LED solution that uses a new module for broadening backlight colors, while UF940 uses Quantum Dots. It is based on crystal size from 2 to 10 nanometers, each of which emits a different color depending on its size. Active allows you to improve the clarity of the image and display more natural colors.
The manufacturer also decided to use the Ultra Luminance – intelligent control of backlight technology. It transfers power from the darker areas of the screen and increase the brightness in areas that require it. UF950, UG880 and UG870 were also provided with a base Auditorium Stand, which collects sounds and bounce them directly to the viewer.
