Although Microsoft did not give a more precise statistics, but assuming approx. 5 million people participated in Windows Insider, is easy to calculate that Windows 10 has been downloaded so far by approx. 9 million users. For this, 14 million installations in 24 hours gives us quite an impressive result 162 installations every second.
Since the Redmond giant has decided to make available these numbers so quickly, we can probably safely assume that as of now Windows 10 is their pride. Who knows, maybe ten beats Windows 7 when it comes to popularity?
Update : Well, the numbers are growing at a record pace. At midnight, August 1, the number of computers running Windows 10 has risen to 67 million. Wow.
