Nebula shrimp was just illuminated by the hot, new stars that were born in the area. See photos.
The photograph was taken at the La Silla Observatory in Chile under the program ESO Cosmic Gems. It shows three clusters of young stars that shine in the ultraviolet. This radiation ionizes the surrounding gas and makes the nebula shines. Each chemical element emits light of a characteristic color for each other. The surrounding space clouds of hydrogen make the nebula turns red.

The European Southern Observatory has published a photo of Prawn Nebula, also known as Gum 56, which is the place of permanent recycling material from which new stars are forming. Over millions of years the stars are aging and turning the material formed new ones.
Nebula Gum 56 is located about 6,000 light years from Earth, has a diameter of about 250 light years. Despite the huge size has not yet been well studied.
