On Mars, there were once large amounts of oxygen? - On 24

Researchers concluded that Mars once may have been present large amounts of oxygen. The study is published in the prestigious weekly magazine “Nature”.

The presence of oxygen on Mars may provide investigated by the U.S. rover “Spirit” rocks, dating back four billion years.

Author Research Dr. Bernard Wood of the University of Oxford claims that it is the evidence that Mars might once have been similar to the Earth.

It is believed that oxygen on Mars was probably out of the water, the molecules are split into hydrogen and oxygen by sunlight.
