Since 2012, the Laboratory of X, a special branch of Google engaged in innovative technologies, we are working on creating a new, efficient battery. Wall Street Journal reports that the new solution, which would be a godsend for users of smartphones, as well as a self-steering cars, developing a small, four-man band.
It is chaired by not just anyone – Dr Ramesh Bhardwaj, once associated with Apple recognized expert in the industry. The scientist said that work on the new and improved Google batteries are extremely important, because the company has a portfolio of about twenty projects whose success depends largely on the improvement of power sources.
How to come up with the battery again?
We already know a bit about how the new batteries in the future would look like. Flat, thin like a film would allow for the “compression” devices, particularly mobile. The upgraded lithium-ion would use the electrolyte in the solid state, not liquid. This would provide greater efficiency and productivity. Even if this field study is successful, the problem is still the cost of production of this type of battery.
Without innovative power supply concepts such as contact lenses, , measuring glucose level never put into mass production. And we’ll be stuck with a daily charge smartphones, tablets, and Watch .
