T-Mobile Poland extends the range of LTE technology to more than 83% of the population from 77% earlier with the launch of over 400 new base stations, gave the operator.
“From today T-Mobile launches for its customers LTE over 400 new base stations. As a result, network coverage in this technology will grow by leaps and bounds from 77% to over 83% “- said in a press release.
As part of the expansion of LTE coverage base stations were launched in more than 100 new destinations, including, among others, Torzym, Niemcza, Opatowie, Rejowiec factory, Sokolow Malopolski, White Rawska, as well as well-known tourist destinations such as: Bukowina Tatrzanska, Iwonicz-Zdroj, Krynica-Zdroj, Rajcza, Wierchomla Muszyna or Krościenko nad Dunajcem, are also given.
“Other stations are complementary coverage in places where LTE was already available, as well as on the most important road transport routes, including the A2 motorway from Warsaw, via Poznan to the border with Germany, as well as the entire length of the A4 motorway from the border through Wroclaw, Katowice, Kraków to Rzeszów, the A1 motorway from Gdansk to the Czech border and high-speed road S7 “- reads.
All services T-Mobile and Heyah are available on nearly 100 % of Polish. The first co-founder and now sole owner of T-Mobile Poland is the group Deutsche Telekom, which includes, among others, T-Mobile and T-Systems.
