5000 Poles sent photos of the cosmos – Polish Radio

It’s the finale of the “Send a picture in Space” organized by the Cooperative “Cool Art”.

Hevelius was thrust into earth orbit on August 19 by a rocket fired from China.

Hevelius is one of six satellites, which were built in the framework of Austro-Canadian-Polish project Brite. Five devices, including Polish Lem, placed in space before. Unfortunately, one of the satellites was lost – his fate is unknown.
