iTaxi: We welcome the entry into Polish Uber – Brief

In the last week there was much talk about the transport of persons and regulations in this respect. The fact is that this form has been around for years banned in Poland. Despite this, we see on the streets of major cities cars carrying passengers, but without the proper marking exercise taxis. Do they eliminate licensed vehicles? In my opinion, no. As the President of the largest applications taxi in Poland, I can confidently say that the customers ultimately decide how they prefer to travel, and because of safety and comfort, I believe that will choose a taxi.

transport of people is a bit cheaper solution than a taxi ride. However, opting for this mode of transport should take into account three aspects. The first is the safety of the passenger. To be a driver carriage of passengers only need a driver’s license. There is no requirement of any training or knowledge of the topography of the city. Drivers you do not pay taxes, do not have a license. Interesting is the fact that transportation is a service provided privately, and therefore not subject to regulation. So we’re not sure whether a driver is insured, and the car fully operational.

 

The second important issue is the convenience to the user. Transportation is usually the car that are not marked. We do not know whether the car so that when we drove is the one that we ordered. This phenomenon often occurs in the United States. American drivers complain that their private cars trying to get in strangers, thinking it was unmarked taxis.

 

The last, but probably the most important thing is the time of arrival. Service shall not be put into service buspasami. On the example of Warsaw, which is one of the most congested cities in Europe, this is very important. Transport are forced to become common in giant traffic jams. As a result, extended travel time, which is directly related to the increase in costs.
