Amazon unveiled two new ebook readers. The first is refreshed Kindle Touch. A new Kindle Voyage.
Kindle Voyage to the reader with 6-inch high-resolution 1440 by 1080 pixels. Amazon boasts that used in the display Paperwhite next generation. A novelty is the way to change sides without taking your fingers away from the reader. Just focus on the case. Voyage is the thinnest Kindle in history. It has only 7.6 mm thick. The enclosure is made of magnesium alloy. The device will go on sale October 21. Will cost $ 219 WiFi version and $ 289 for WiFi + 3G version. Will be able to buy the reader in the variant “Special Offers”, ie with ads for respectively $ 199 and $ 269.
The second reader unveiled by Amazon is simply a new Kindle. It will replace the version of the Classic. In practice, a slightly refreshed version of the Kindle Touch. The device features a 6-inch touch screen with a resolution of Pearl 800 by 600 pixels, 4GB of memory and updated software. Importantly, there is a version with backlit screen, as in the model Paperwhite. This model will cost $ 99 or $ 79 with ads (“Special Offers”). New Kindle can be ordered also to Polish (does not apply to the Kindle Voyage).
Amazon is not saying goodbye to the model Paperwhite. It is available for $ 139.
