French Kiss is 80 million bacteria – Focus

During a passionate kiss lasting only 10 seconds pass yourself up to 80 million bacteria.

These are the conclusions of the study, which was published in the magazine “Microbiome”. But scientists assure us: couples who kiss at least 9 times a day have a similar bacterial flora in the oral cavity.

Researchers in the Netherlands studied 21 couples who reported on their habits kisses. Then the composition of the microflora was tested on the tongue, and saliva. The results showed that the bacterial flora in the mouth balances at the couples who kiss often. Ok. 9 kisses over made the flora partners became very similar.

The researchers suggest that the bacterial flora in balancing the role of other factors. A similar lifestyle, shared meals, diet and hygiene habits – all this affects the shape of the flora living in the mouth.
