Sapphire Radeon complements R9 R9 model 290X Vapor-X 8GB. Equipped with double the amount of memory the video card will be used in the most demanding conditions – especially in the latest games in the increasingly popular 4K resolution.
At the core of the structure is the most efficient and the most advanced non-reference card Sapphire Vapor-X R9290X Tri X. The card is equipped with a GPU Hawaii XT contains 2816 stream processors. It is clocked at 1030 MHz, and cooperating with the 8 GB of GDDR5 memory runs at a frequency of 1375 MHz. With additional memory card installed in the system efficiently handle the game in resolutions higher than Full HD up to 4K. Today, as more and more new games are offered in graphic design with textures of very high quality, which entails increased capacity requirements of video memory.

R9 290X 8GB Vapor-X has two BIOS chip, so you can be sure the smooth operation of both the classical systems, as well as those that support UEFI mode.
As with all models of the R9, the Sapphire card R9290X Vapor- X 8GB fully supports DirectX 11.2, OpenGL 4.3 API and Mantle. In the future it will also support the next version of Microsoft’s libraries, DirectX 12, which will debut in 2015. The latest GCN architecture also means support for AMD TrueAudio that in games that support it provides better sound using both stereo headphones and speakers ,. Dedicated GPU processor improves surround sound, generating a realistic acoustic environment using advanced algorithms for echo and reverb.
