Plus, as the first operator in Poland, successfully tested a data transfer rate of 300 Mb / s. They were made in LTE-Advanced by combining bands at two frequencies – 1800 MHz and 2600 MHz. Testing was carried out in collaboration with Ericsson and used their software to LTE-Advanced Carrier Aggregation. Carried out by the network plus the attempt showed how fast data can be delivered through a combination of carrier frequencies in the LTE standard.

Successful testing LTE-Advanced and they reached the speed of data transfer is the next stage in the development of technology, the pioneers in our country are Plus and Digital Polsat. It is also a demonstration of how fantastic the results are possible because of the use of the available frequencies. LTE-Advanced is not only to increase the maximum speed of data transfer, but also the capacity of LTE networks, which will provide broadband Internet service to more users in the event of increase in the network load.

Plus was the first operator in Poland, together with Digital Polsat, reached speeds of 150 Mb / s transmission on the LTE, the first LTE-Advanced shown on the 800 MHz band, and finally, as first presented the show broadcast transmission of video over wireless networks LTE Broadcast (eMBMS). Plus also the first operator in Poland, successfully tested a chat over LTE (VoLTE).

,, Tests advanced technology are an essential part of our network development strategy, which confirms our willingness to provide the most reliable and fast data transfer. “- said Oliver Kanzi, President of Ericsson in Poland. – ,, Carrier aggregation allows for higher data transmission rates than when using a single carrier. The first commercial deployments of the technology can be expected after the auction and build a network of 800 and 2600 MHz. ” – Kanzi adds.

The download speed of 300 Mb / s was obtained using the aggregation of two carrier frequencies of 20 MHz LTE FDD bands operating in the 1800 MHz and 2600 MHz. In its implementation of the software was used LTE-Advanced Carrier Aggregation created by Ericsson.

The testing of 300 Mb / s in the bands 1800 and 2600 MHz are designed to not only show the hypothetical possibilities offered by technology. Among the many possible solutions based on the aggregation of bands, plus successfully tested it that it is possible to offer on hardware already available in the store and offer the operator.
