The social network, founded by Mark Zuckerberg, has introduced cosmetic changes in its logo. About hardly visible modification announced one of the company’s employees.
Wednesday’s change is the first that was introduced in the logo since its inception in 2005. Modifications were made quietly, and the service has not delivered on this official statement.
The changes introduced in the logo informed only Christophe Tauziet, one of the designers of the company. The man showed improved inscription on Twitter. The team that worked on changing the logo, found among others Eric Olson, who ten years ago created a font for the logo.
Cosmetic changes
At first glance, the change is almost invisible. Promoted on the letter “F” has not changed. Designers improved only the logo, that showcases the entire site name. The letters in the modified string are slightly smaller and more rounded. – We just wanted to refresh its old logo and make them more friendly – Facebook explained creative director Josh Higgins in an interview with Brand New. The new logo is already being updated and soon will be visible to all users.
The change only cosmetic though not everyone liked the Internet users. The comments appeared Network, where users complain that developers lack of visible change and that the new logo is “dull and graceless.”
But there were Internet users who appreciated the simplicity of the logo.
