Tablets are today one of the best-selling electronic devices in our country. Meanwhile, according to the control of UKE, half of them do not meet the formal requirements or, worse, technical.
Office of Electronic Communications Polish audited the tablet market. The results are, to say the least, astonishing. Inspectors checked the documentation of products, the correctness of the application of a product CE conformity marking and conducted laboratory tests in terms of the requirements for radio broadcasting and transmitting – receiving and in the field of electromagnetic compatibility requirements.
UKE randomly chose 104 device control, and 31 percent. of this sample was subjected to an additional laboratory tests. As it turned out, only 47 models meet all the requirements of Polish law. In 43 cases, the entities responsible for placing devices on the market to effectively remove control deficiencies identified in such a way that the product can remain on sale.
