The case concerns the technology used in the processor A7, A8 and A8X that belong to the university, and that has been the company from Cupertino unlawfully used.

Initially it was said that Apple could pay up to 852 million dollars as compensation for non-contractual use of the disputed technology. The court, however, was more gracious to the American giant and ordered to pay the owner of the patents only 234 million dollars.

It is possible that the court will go the company even more on hand, further reducing the amount of compensation.

Of course, the university also did not He intends to apply weapons and Apple recently filed a new trial, this time a technology used in A9 processor installed, among others, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, which also has patents.
