Google once again proved that the applications that we know very well can be improved . Just introduced a new, very interesting feature to the Calendar application on Android. In the latest version, you can create reminders. We assign them to a specific day and – very important – uncheck when they are made.
In this way, in principle, we can dispense with the application of a “Task List”.
As explained by Google on your blog if a task assigned to a particular day, we will not be awarded passes for the next day. For example, set for Friday December 11th reminder “Send a courier to my mother.” If we forget about this task will appear as long as it’s needed.
Google’s new feature is also interesting for another reason. The reminders can be placed contacts, e-mails, telephone numbers. It is easy to create a task like “On Tuesday December 15 call to a mechanic.” When will we do the job we will not have to find the right number in your contacts list – “we’ll call” directly with reminders.
Reminders will also be integrated with other Google services – they can be created not only with the calendar, but the Gmail app.
According to me, this slight change in your Calendar may make use of the smartphone will become more convenient. Waiting for more facilities of this type.
The updated version of the application should be in the Play Store this week.
What do you know about the tricks of Google?
