Microsoft Translator Skype, or automatic translation of voice calls, and commentators raised in December 2014. With it, users can talk via Skype in their native languages, and their statements are regularly translated into the recipient.
Google on your answer is not long to wait and ordered, as reported by The New York Times , soon Google Translate app for Android received an update useful.
Not quite as Skype
The new Google Translate is a real-time to translate speech into text in another language. At the beginning to be supported only the “common language” – that they are not the company has been specified. However, given that 80-90% of web pages are written in 10 languages, we can call that number as an upper limit.
Do not mention anything about yet translated voice, though of course this does not mean sure that it runs. So far it seems that Google Translator Translate from Skype will vary more supported languages (Microsoft has so far only in English and Spanish), and bordering the translation text.
In addition, Google wants to give us the ability to translate characters and signs in foreign languages - just that you zoom the camera in your phone. The company has a little late with this option, but if the function will be refined and offered the result immediately by simply pointing the lens, it will be a hit. Similar solutions, as shown below dictionary of the Chinese language, already exist, but they are not very comfortable to use. I hope that Google will change.

Google once again number one?
I am optimistic about the new Google Translate, but there is no denying that the announced features are not enough . Until we see the integration of Hangouts translations, both in text and video, Skype Translator that will remain in the product, which makes the biggest impression.
