CES 2015: Plextor M7e, which is hard in games it is important – Virtual Poland

  Plextor at CES 2015 showed the next generation of SSD drives. M7e drives are the first harbinger of a new line of products from Plextor.
 

 M7e Plextor SSD is designed for the next generation of M.2 connector. By using PCI Express 2.0 x 4 drive is able to achieve a data transfer rate of up to 2 GB / s.
 

 Connecting via PCIe allows to bypass the bottleneck M7e SATA III interface and thus get better than average performance. This is important even from the perspective of hardware enthusiasts such as gamers, for which fast storage are now a key component of an efficient computer

sets.
 

 At CES 2015 was presented also refreshed edition M6e drives dedicated specifically for gamers. Plextor drives M6e Black Edition are characterized by a black heat sink and PCBs in the same color. Use the PCIe slot. Their market launch is scheduled for February of 2015.
