Concept Hyperloopu, ie superfast passenger, was presented several years ago by Elon Musk, the entrepreneur and philanthropist, founder of, among others, PayPal and Tesla owner of the company. Long none of its member companies have not started to work on this invention.

The case moved forward in June 2014. When Musk announced that begins the construction of a test line supertransportu and looking for vehicle design - actually a capsule, which would be followed by a move. Owned by businessman company SpaceX announced a competition to design a capsule named tentatively Hyperloop Under.

To compete reported a 1.2 thousand. teams of scientists and engineers from around the world. This team of Polish - Creating your own project capsules have a group of young people associated with the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering, Warsaw and Wroclaw University of Technology. Their concept vehicle prototype has been recognized by the competition committee and admitted to the second stage.

They explain that such high costs result from the complexity of the project. "Print [3D] will consist of a number of high-precision components that have to be made with high accuracy. Depending on the support that from you get, the model will be more or less advanced" - write.

Today the work involved is already 25 people from the Warsaw University of Technology, Wroclaw University of Technology and design companies.

Technologies as a science fiction film

Hyperloop be entirely new, super-fast means of transport, a combination of train and plane. Passengers will move inside the capsule moving speed close to the speed of sound in the pipe within which the pressure is as low as at 10 km. As a result, air resistance will be very weak.

The capsule will move a vehicle from a science fiction movie - without contact with the ground. This is to enable the use of magnetic levitation and air bearings. Polish scientists are counting on the fact that designed their vehicle will be faster and less energy consuming than the proposals of their competitors.
