Lumia 430 – the cheapest smartphone Microsoft announced – FrazPC.pl

Microsoft after the acquisition of Nokia’s mobile devices division buries us further Lumia family of smartphones, which usually belong to the budget segment. This time, the Redmond giant, however, broke all records and announced the cheapest model in the family, or Lumia 430 , which was priced at only $ 70 .

The device is running Windows Phone 8.1 , but what is important for potential buyers, the manufacturer has promised that this model will receive an update to Windows 10. The equipment is equipped with a 4-inch WVGA panel (800×480 pixels), dual-core processor Snapdragon 200 clocked at 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM , 8 GB of memory for data, expandable with microSD card and battery with a capacity of 1500 mAh. I must admit that the amount of memory – both RAM and internal – must be regarded in this case as a positive surprise. Complemented by a 2 MP camera and rear, front 0.3 MP webcam and support for dual-SIM functionality.

So far confirmed the availability of the smartphone in emerging markets such as India, Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus and in the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East.
