In this series there are two models. Aspire Switch SW5-171 for advanced users is equipped with Full HD 1080p and HD webcam. Intel Core i5 4th generation provide computing power allows to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Switch is equipped with 4GB of memory and SATA SSD up to 128GB. Connectivity with external storage media, peripherals and other digital devices provide full-size USB 3.0 and USB 2.0.

Aspire SW5-111 Switch is equipped with a matrix with a resolution of 1366 x 768 quad-core Intel Atom Z3745 processor, 2GB memory and hard drive 64GB eMMC to provide sufficient computing power and storage space. Two USB 2.0 connectors – one full size and one in a micro – allow you to connect peripheral devices, and other digital devices. 2.0MP front camera with recording audio / video in Full HD 1080p allows you to conduct video conferencing and shooting.

Both models work under Microsoft Windows 8.1 with a yield comparable to desktop computers. HDMI micro connector allows you to connect to the full screen using a single cable and connector MicroSD read various types of SD cards. Excellent wireless connectivity is supported by Bluetooth 4.0, and 802.11 a / b / g / n.

In turn, Aspire Switch 10 offers a new model, the SW5-012 equipped with a 10.1-inch screen in Full HD 1920 x 1200 or 1280 x 800 HD protected against scratches by Corning Glass Gorilla Glass 3 is one of the thinnest device 2 in 1 available on the market: it has only 8.9 mm thick in tablet mode and 20.2 mm the keyboard mode.

Switch 10 SW5-012 has pre-installed Microsoft Windows 8.1 and a free Microsoft Office 365 Personal, allowing users to create and edit Microsoft Word documents, Excel and PowerPoint.

 Acer Aspire Series Switch 11 will be available in Poland since October 2014 prices from 1800 PLN for model SW5-111 and 2500 PLN for model SW5-171. Switch 10 will be available from October 2014 at a price of 1400 PLN.
