Alcatel is one of the less prominent, but the oldest manufacturers of mobile equipment. The company has just introduced four new models of smartphones branded Alcatel One Touch Pixi.
As explained in The Verge Pixi 3 will be available in a variant with a 3.5-inch screen (3G), and 4 , 4.5 and 5 inches (LTE).
Alcatel equipment will not be equipped with high-end components, smartphones, however, have a very unique feature. They will be able to operate on three operating systems: Android, Windows Phone and Firefox OS. In this way, can become a tool for people with different habits and needs.
I suspect that, like most new phones on the market, Pixie 3 will have a pretty decent specification. And the ability to run three systems makes the phones become attractive to a larger number of people. This can give Alcatel advantage over other producers. Although it is also possible that a smartphone with a screen diagonal of 5 inches running on Firefox OS seems to be a rather strange idea.
It is also worth mentioning that due Alcatel may soon return to the market brand Palm . The creators of the first PDAs first passed into the hands of HP – mainly for the operating system WebOS.
