“The Guardian” reached to information, which shows that the work on the autonomous vehicle of Apple are at a very advanced stage. According to British journalists, the car is ready for testing. This confirms the correspondence of Frank Fearonea, Apple engineer and officials of the military base.
Tests of the vehicle to be held in the former naval base near San Francisco. The complex GoMentum Station, has been transformed into an experimental track for autonomous vehicles. On an area of 850 hectares, there are over 30 km of trails that imitate urban roads and motorways. The whole is not available to outsiders and guarded by the military.

Apple so far has not commented on the case. Representatives GoMentum Station confirmed that Apple contacted them on the tests, but due to the confidentiality clause can not give any information on that.
