Virtual reality permeates our everyday life – Interia

According to Ericsson ConsumerLab, in the next few years, the importance of the information provided in the form of visual increase. In particular, it will be seen outside the screens of devices – visualizations for good invade our everyday lives. Virtual reality (VR) is by smartphone users cited as the most common carrier of information in a visual format.

eight out of ten respondents, at least one of the twelve uses of virtual reality (VR) mentioned in the survey Ericsson ConsumerLab is interesting and worth placing on market.

The most popular among respondents enjoy a virtual maps, videos played around the viewer, virtual technical assistance and VR goggles for athletes. Half of the respondents willing to use virtual reality to organize conferences, during which the caller will be visible in the form of holograms.

Shopping is another activity that virtual reality will change. Half of smartphone users are interested in technology for creating selfie 3D – three-dimensional model of her body, which can be used when shopping online. Sixty percent of surveyed would like to see the actual size of the products before purchasing them.

With 3D printers, over the next few years we will be able to experience the evanescent need to buy certain categories of objects. Half of smartphone users surveyed by Ericsson ConsumerLab wants to use a 3D printer to create their own cutlery, toys and spare parts to devices.
