The tablet market in the red – Apple and Samsung with the biggest losses – dobreprogramy

No innovation, stagnation and smartphones with large displays – so the experts determine the main reasons for the significant decrease of sales of tablets in the first quarter of 2015 compared to the same period year. At least in the case of market leaders. Apple lost the most – the number of tablets sold this company decreased from 13.3 to 10.9 million units. The situation is little better in the case of Samsung, which recorded decrease in the number of tablets sold about one million.

Moderate have reason to be satisfied while Lenovo, which sold the first three months of 2015, about 100,000 more units than the year before. This trend goes in line with the opinions of analysts from International Data Corporation – Chinese manufacturer was not afraid to innovate, such as putting on your tablet projector, as was the case with the model Yoga Tablet 2 Pro.

The increase can also be observed for example, Huawei and LG. However, they still have market shares of the order of 3.7% sequentially and 3.6%. Therefore, Huawei sold this year by 800,000 units more tablets than last year (103.6% increase). However, in the case of the LG number of units sold has increased by 1.1 million, representing an increase of 246.4%. This does not change the fact that the summa summarum in the first quarter of this year, the market for tablets and hybrid devices shrunk by as much as 7%.
